stumped.. i feel like a noob

 okay, just the front of my noma is bagged and im running a 450 viair compressor into a 5 gallon tank. very simple. my leader hose had a real bad leak in it and it was causing my truck to take 5 years to fill and lift. so i ordered and brand new leader hose and installed it today. i turned on the truck, compressor ran fine, so i let it sit to "fill up" for quite some time. went to hit the switch and not the slightest bit of air had gone to the bags... i cant seem to find the problem, i checked all the fittings for leaks, all the airlines are intact and fine, it just doesnt seem to be getting any air...
please help, i feel like a retard.

hose on backwards?

check valve is supposed to go in the tank, am i wrong?

it shouldnt matter as long as air flow is going into the tank and not into the compressor. Id check the wiring to the valves. maybe a ground wire is loose

check valves ARE directional. if you have it on backwards, no air will go into the tank. undo the side of the leader hose that goes to the tank, turn the comp. on and you should feel air being pumped out.... if you dont, then the leader hose is on backwards. if you do feel air, hook it back up and check your valves...make sure they are opening. if they are opening, then you may again have a bad bad leak somewhere. dont run the compressor too long if the leader hose has the check valve mounted up the wrong way, youll burn the comp up.

hmm okay ill go and try that now, im pretty sure the valves are working fine though.. this just happened as soon as i put the new hose on... thanks for the input though guys

take the check valve off and put hose on just long enought to see if it airs up cause i have seen many people  think there compressor is bad they have come to me to buy new compressor when only the check valve is bad.  take the hose and connect it to a compressor that you run your air tools with and see if any air comes out the other end it will show if check vavle is bad

okay so i just went out and took the hose out of the tank and just let the compressor run and there wasnt even any air traveling through the leader hose... im guessing its a bad check valve like you said above^^^

what about no leader on at all any air? if so the check vavle is backwards

There is no hydraulic fluid in the lines, duh!
