i see there is some kind of arm in the pic is there somewhere stock to bolt it to or what

These cars have an upper and lower control arm, it's not a macpherson strut. The shock does bolt to the strut assembly.

Hey DEREK or JEREMY i know alot of you guys are in Art Of Noize and i am very interested in talking with someone about joining or petitioning with the club, i have always liked the cars and trucks that ive seen in the club and always wanted to make yalls show one year..... i looked at the website to find out more info but cant find anybodys contact info on the texas chapter... if you could please send me some contact info or just give me the rundown or details of how to go about joining..... you can email me at idragbody@gmail.com thanx alot guys...... and stay tuned for more on the build

Mike is the only one in Texas, you can email him at rasdubber@yahoo.com. We don't have some elaborate process for joining. Just hang out for a while, show interest and eventually we will vote on you. Making it to West Coast Nats would be a good idea. Mike is in Dallas.

---------------------------------------------Originally posted by tre5Thanks for the thought, but this is what we are trying to fix. The myth that hydraulics are more work than airbags. We could have easily sold you a preplumbed setup with a pre wired switchbox and bolt in replacements for your struts. It would have been easier than the bag setup, even if you are unfamiliar with hydraulics. Oh well, good luck on your car, I'm sure it will look great.---------------------------------------------I really don't too many people know you guys can do that. You need to add that to the website

Good luck with the build.  I'm sure it'll look amazing when it's done.  If I were to do air, that slam specialties kit would be my first choice.

You could have also driven it out from Texas. I did Mike's Passat wagon and he lives in Dallas, TX. I am also building a mighty max for him right now. Oh well though, maybe next time.
