Project: Mangle

here is my toyota pickup project i'm calling "Now and Then"  Its a 92 Pickup and i'm going to have a rear view of my rendering soon, but here is the front view and all i will say, other than letting the rendering do the talking, is it is gonna have a 09' Tundra engine and trans.  so let me know what you think so far of it.

thanks,  yeah when he sent me the pic,  it just flowed with the body and i liked it alot.  will start tearing into it this weekend 

pretty sweet, just not a fan of the hood

you couldnt wait til i was done to post it LOL. its an awesome idea, i cant wait to see the finished product. by the way ill have everything done by this week end.  

I would probly either build a new bumper for it or modify an earlier model toyota bumper.  The plastic cover that they use on the new tacoma bumper isnt gonna fit the front of that year truck very well.  I like the idea.  I have attemped to mold those headlights into an 88 model toyota.  It didnt work because the front of the new tacomas are very round and the front of my toyota as well as yours it very square.  You will have to use alot of the new tacoma sheet metal to make it flow nice.  I really like the hood.  Im not a big fan of the orange on the hood and roof.  Im not sure how you are going to make a line on the roof to seperate the two colors.  Thats all my input for now.

how much different are the 92 style rear wheel wells to the 09? ever think about doing the 09s?IMO it looks shitty when someone does a conversion & only changes the front end & the body lines dont flow right front to back.
