Hey everyone... it's been a while since i've posted here, i've been out of the game for a loooong time since i sold my truck. But I am looking into my next build now and I was wondering what everyones preference on valve placement is. I am going to be doing a basic F/B/S/S setup on a 94 s10, but will only really be using F/B. Not trying to build anything fast, but where do you all prefer to put your valves... all 8 at the tank, or 4 in the front as close to the bags as possible and 4 in the rear as close as possible. All I know is it feels good to be gettin back in the game!!!!!

If you were trying to bulid it fast I'd say put them at the bag. Since you said you weren't building it fast and probably more of a daily mounting them all at the tank will work just fine. To keep it coming down level I like the adjustable slow down with silencers on the dump sides. Now when you lift the front and back up you'll find the back comes up faster than the front, because the front weighs more. If I'm using 3/8" valves all the way around I'll take a piece of 1/4" line and stick it inside the 3/8" and it will slow the back down so it lifts more evenly. Just a cheap way of doing it if you have some 1/4" airline laying around instead of putting in inline slow downs. Hopefully this is of some help to you.
