That will work fine. I would reinforce the short section of tubing between where the two tubes come together and the super pivot joint. That is the place that "sees" all of the load.

you may get some twist out of the lower links with the bag offset to the side.

mount them centered on top of the bars not offset to the sidethat will prevent the twisting

I would do a set of rearward bars with dogbones in board of the frame, bag on bar back where a fuel cell would normally go. God luck. JR

Dogbone isn't quite the proper terminology for what he's talking about. It would be more like a shackle. What it does is allow you to have a forward 4-link while running 2 bars rearward to mount the bags to. The rearward mounted bars would fight the 4-link if they weren't isolated from the rearend, so shackles would be used to allow the rearend to follow the set path of the 4-link while the rear bars only did lifting duty.

yea that set up works been running it for 2 yrs now the bars twist alittle , i would try and center them more , and put a brace on the top of the upper bag mount ...and i did think about putting a gusset in but it hasnt cracked yet...
