cleaning overspray off interior plastic

whats the best way to get overspray off plastic? some of the tape wasnt sticking good and i got some overspray on the pillar. will laquer thinner work? or will it mess with the plastic?

it might melt the plastic.

You might try a clay bar. I know they are more used for exterior but might work. If not ask a paint supply store in your area.

what about the wax and grease remover i know it will take off base coat if it doesnt have clear on it.

Might try some 000 Steel wool.
