trailblazer headlight problem

i have a 2003 trailblazer and the other day the day light/ headlights went out.. both left and right ent out together so i checked the fuses and the bulbs... i was told it would b the headlight switch but it still works cus turns on the dimmers in cab and parking lights. if anyone has an idea please help thank you..

still could be the switch. do the daytime lights work?

no day lights dont work either... highbeams work and the switch will turn them off but headlights dont work for anything

daytime running lights are connect in with parking break when i push my parking break on my s10 pickup it turns the lights off even if truck still running i believe there is a sensor some where in the circuit that tell the daytime running light to come on and when it gets dark enough doesn't mean night time only .i have been sitting im my garage with my car running and my windows up yes there tinted dash lights pop on then when i back out or roll down the windows the dash light go out .most people pull the drl fuse and just don't use them and flip the switch just remember to turn off your switch so you dont kill your batttery. but if you pull the fuse and no lights work then i would say it has to be a switch
