67-72 c10 owners...need hood hinge ideas

Sup everyone I am building a '69 shortbed c-10 and need help with the hood hinges. Everyone who has layed one of these things out knows that fender mounted hinges like the factory ones are out of the question. I know a lot of people use those scissor style hot rod hinges but I was hoping maybe someone had different ideas?

i am building a 72-c-10 with 67 front end... and i went to a junk yard and striped a front flip hood kit of a Buick lesabre or something... so know myhood will be suicided and i wont have that problem...
