I need help, i'll be getting my 87 burb back soon and i need a stereo system.  I'm looking at 2-4 12's or 15's, amps, crossover, cap, and 2 sets of 6.5" components.  I don't need a handout, i just need someone who can get me a deal.  If anyone has the hookup with RF, kicker, memphis, audiobahn, or someone else, please help. thanks.

FAIL!

to get a sponsorship you have to create a proposal letter and a press kit. this is usually how any potential sponsor from a reputable company starts.. goodle sposnorship letters and you should get the idea...

not trying to be a dick but starting a thread on ssm begging for free stuff with a truck you are getting back soon is just not a step in the right direction. if you want to send me an email i would be happy to give you some useful, proven information on obtaining sponsorships.

and to touch on what u said towards the end. i would think that anyone you knew with a sposnor that could get you a deal, and by that i mean discount, would probably only do it if you knew them personally and were their freind or business associate, handing out your discount to any random person for being on board with a stereo company isnt the best thing to do...

but good luck anyway, if these tactics work i will actually be the dick im coming across as in this post.

I agree, you need to put together a proposal letter, and it will help greatly to have a professional rendering  along with it to show what you planning it to look like. It's not easy getting them, it's usually easier trying before show season starts.

society:  he still has'nt started on the frame, but has it drawn up.  No updated pics  no1:  I was'nt begging for free stuff, i know it'll be a LONG time before my burb is done like i want, I'm not trying to do a full sponsorship, i was just hoping maybe someone on here had an audio shop that could get me a deal on stuff, and i'd put a sticker on the windshield or something.  I'm not dumb enough to think my truck will be a contender for a while, no company would just give me free stuff, that was'nt the purpose of my post.  Sorry if i offended. cruck: i just want my stereo done before Showfest next year, with my s10 i bought a piece at a time, now i have to start over with everything, it's a lot easier spending $150 here and $300 there for a year, buying everything all at once is going to be a little harder, and i was just hoping someone could help me out. Sorry if i offended anyone.

There is no reason to come in here being a dick fredstinting. I was simply agreeing with Josh. I didn't reply to him like ugh god you lazy f*ck, get out there and do it this way.I just offered advice on how to get sponsorships. If I came off as a dick I apologize it was not my intentions Jumbo.
