s10 wont start help please

ok i bought a bagged s10 for super cheap, its a 96 v6 auto ext cab, it turns over but has no spark, ive put fuel direct, ive changed all fuses, coil has power to it, changed distributor and plug wires and plugs but still no spark, the previous owner said it stopped running when he intalled a fuel cell in the rear, he cut all the wires to the stock fuel pump and all the wires for the rear lights are cut also, he blocked of the return fuel linefrom engine back, theres no grounds hooked up in the rear anywhere, theres some wires cut under the hood but they go to the lights, and theres a couple melted wires under the dash that go to the headlight switch, im not good with wiring at all and am going crazy trying to figure this out, any help or anywhere in socal i can take it to that wont charge alot of money since im just a poor minitrucker, thanks
