layin a 02 silverado on 24s

I am getting ready to get my fullsize on the ground and Im looking for some insight.  I know this has been beat to death, But Im too lazy to research it all.  Ive got a standard cab 2002 silverado with stock control arms and bolt in KP bag mounts in the front and mcgaughys spindles.  Its got 24 inch wheels with a 275/30-24.  I need to know what needs to be done to the control arms to get it to lay.  Does the firewall need to be cut.  Where does everyone move the fuse box under the hood.  I also stumbled on this and wondered how the push rod works being on an angle:
 
The truck is laying on the fender wells right now.  So this is alot of work ahead of me.

you can lay the front on stock arms and mcgaughys spindles with that tire    thats how mine was before i started upsizeing  you will need to tub the firewall and relocate everything  i moved my comp and fuse box under my dash and my battery inside my front bumper and for the booster i went hydro boost  but  since your not bd you shouldnt need the hydro boost unless you bd it but for the front mounts  just cut off all the factory coil stuff and do a torsion style bracket off the frame rail

before i went hydroboost mine had a spacer like that except it was more angled. It had some round bar the was welded to follow the shape of the angle and worked great. The round bar was reinforced at the angles so it wouldnt flex. I decided to do a hydroboost swap though.

Thanks guys.  When you moved the fuse box inside did you have to extend any wires or were you able to reroute the wiring without.  I am planning on channeling the floor to get the rockers on the ground so it sounds like Hydro boost is the way to go.
