In no way trying to jack the thread.... But if that is an orginal 1968 Corvette 350 block then sell it for alot of money. Because it is the only one in existance. The 350 wasn't offered in the Corvette until 1969. The L48 350 was only available in the Nova and Camaro's before 1969 in the 300BHP configuration. Not trying to talk shit, just don't want you get screwed. Nice looking square body by the way. Alot of work to get these body styles down on 22's.

i was told it was a 68, but i don't doubt that it's a 69,70, or 71. all i really did was run the numbers and it came up 350 ci, and i checked the bores to make sure they weren't gouged or scored really bad. i got it already bored .030 but it sat in the back of the machine shop for a couple years and got covered in surface rust. a few hours of cleaning and a good cylinder & lifter hone and it looked brand new

here's a couple pics of the block after i washed it, sanded it, wire brushed it, and got it ready to build and paint and as it turns out, the block is from a camaro. the numbers are 3914678 from mortec.com the numbers come out for that camaro as a 1968 camaro 350, 2 bolt main. i guess the guy couldn't remember if it was a camaro or corvette 3914678....302.....68....2...Z-28 Camaro3914678....327.....68....23914678....350.....68....2

when they made them old chev's..... un like today... a 68 prob were prob made well in to 69... and 69's well into 70.... they are still 68's and 69's but when they sell like hot cakes why stop making them. i would die to find a 69 CAM ZL1 or yenko or Z/28 in a barn...or old ladies wood shed. butt i was just about to say its a 2 bolt main. but hey.... its gonna be a nice 350... 2 bolt 4 bolt dosent matter to me. looks killer..

I have 90% of the parts to get it running on the engine stand. Just throw the distributor in, rebuild my old 70's holley DP 650cfm carb on and it ought to crank. i think all i have left to buy is a water pump pulley, plug wires, and alternator, and a shitload of wire to hook this mother up.
