I think my Viar is broke...

I know it is actually. My nice and new 480 hasnt pumped even a minute of air out and its broke!! The power and ground wires were "accidently" ripped out of the end. So I took it apart and it looks like I can just replace that end with the contacts and crap on it...is this possible? please tell me yes. And if so does anyone have an old one I can get??? thanks in advance for any help...cuz im an idiot who cant take care of shit.

that just happened on one of my freinds trucks, we just took it apart and soldered the wires back in were they broke off of. its working for now atleast. hope that helps.

yeah that wouldnt be a problem except that the black plastic pieces where the power and ground cables were ripped out are broke too...

yeah the power cable didnt get ripped out of my freinds, just the ground did, and it broke the post off but we just super glued it back on, the power would be the challenging one though. i would imagine you could just find one of the same model that some one has that doesnt work or what ever for cheap and just switch out the end caps, i dont see why you couldnt. maybe call viair and ask them? you may be able to just buy an end cap from them too?

Anyone got the end block out of a 450 or 480 I can get? Its the end piece where the wires come out of...I need that whole end. It needs to be in good shape of course. Lemme know if you have anything through PM or email: tacon19s@yahoo.com thanks

ok i took the 380 apart and it has brushes in the end  ill sell you the black plastic w the brushes and 45 plus freight  i toook apart my new 450 and it has the same black plastic and brushes

Does anyone have an old 480 laying around that I can buy from you cheap? I need to get a compressor back on my truck quickly. Again, I dont really wanna just guess that any other viair will work...I would like a 480.......... SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT...

Call Viair direct and they may sell you the end piece
