Hey max if i had a first gen jag irs with a lower link bar, axle shafts with u joints and forward radius arms, how would i go about setting up a tubular control arm with 4 link ends that i made in order to swing off a pivot on the frame above the pumpkin and also pivot off the rear spindle above the outer u joint with the stock lower link bar in place without any binding issues?    So far  im having binding issues that involve the long pivot tubes i ran above the inner u joints flexing in and out a bit when i cycle the rear suspension since they are only tacked in with no crossmembers between the 2.  So what im asking is  is there any way to run upper control arms and lower link bars on this style irs to stiffen the whole thing up and possibly lose the radius arms? Im also want to triangulatethe lower link bars wide in order to help but first the binding is driving me nuts, is there a formula or something or some tips you have to help me set this up and eliminate the binding?

You are fighting exactly why I don't like Jags. Make the axles a slip shaft and you'll eliminate all your issues with binding. It's possible to build it without, but you gotta be REALLY good.

Thanks for the info max. I made the outer pivot on my upper c arm a double pivot with a shackle and that took care of the binding allowing the length change on the upper to just get abosorbed. took care of the binding hopefully it wont get any excessive amounts of play.
