redrilling lug pattern s10 to toyota

planning on redrilling a s10 front rotor to toyota 5x4.5, anyone have experiences or tips on what NOT to do. was thinking of redrilling them on a mill at work. get to use the machine shop tools for my own stuff once and a while. (the reason im going to redrill them is b/c im going to run a ford explorer rear axle that has the same 5x4.5 lug pattern.)
 
or i was thinkin of waiting till i get a brake upgrade kit and tell them its an s10 but i want a toyota/ranger lug pattern instead
