Or put the 360 that the put in the RT Dakotas, Probabbly get one cheap and it shouldnt be a hard swap since the put them in the dakotas anyways.

Been moving our shop to a new location so no progress as of late, getting ready for WCN and after that, getting back on it first thing Oct.

Well it's first thing Oct, and not to disapoint, PROGRESS! No pics tho at the moment, but got the engine mounts cut out and fabbed up some new ones that are 2'' lower Gonna build the tranny x-member prob tommarow and get the engne and trans ready to go!

its been a week... post the pics already! ha ha.  i know body dropping a truck is a lot of work, but how has this build been going so far? i want to do my dakota, but i dont want to tear into something and be way over my head.

Yup! Still working... slowly but surely right now. We put the cab on the frame for the first time to get a feel for the fit. Not looking oo bad right now, some trimming here and there and the usual suspects when doing a body drop. The drivetrian is completed, just body mounts and clearing sheetmetal are next
