What do you consider to be your "Million Dollar Tools"? Tools that you use on a daily bases that you don't know how you got along without before you had them. Simple inexpensive tools that would help the amature building trucks in his(wife's) garage, not your $11,000 tig welder.

My bandsaw is the cheapest tool that I couldn't live without, but I use my mill and my lathe more that I ever would have imagined. I wouldn't be able to do what I what I do without them. The TIG is just my prefered method of welding.

How much did you give for your band saw? I have been looking at the cheep ones at Sears.

I bought this saw for $300. One of the best and cheapest tools I have bought yet.   I also have a 60s Sheldon lathe that I couldn't live without. If I got used to a mill, I would probably say the same thing.

Watch your local classified adds for a good used one instead of a cheap new one Nathan, the one Seth posted is a good example of what you want to find. My personal "million dollar" tool would be my tubing notcher, I don't know why it took me so long to buy one but its great.
