im baggin a mazda b22 and i currently have a viair 380c compressor, and my truck has factory a/c, so what would be the process to convert the stock a/c compressor to an engine driven compressor for the air ride? and secondly how fast will it pump? ive never done this or even seen it done in person before. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

Its actually really simple. You just have to make sure you have the Compressor with an oiled sump. Meaning it doesnt oil through the refirgerant. All you have to do is remove the two lines, and tapthe ports for a airline fittings, one for your supply airline for your tank, the other for an intake, I used a small filter for a PCV valve for mine. Also you need to buy a good check valve to run inline to the tank to keep excess pressure off the compressor head. Wiring it to a pressure switch is cake, all you need to do is wire it like you would a normal compressor.  Here are pics of mine, its been working for 3 years, Its my daily driver, and i just add oil to the compressor once a year.  Also alot of people say to add an inline oil dryer, and or oiler, I have never done this and had no problems. I just drain my tank twice a year. Just for your info, my compressor is the orig. compressor that came on my truck, and its an 87 B2000 with over 200K on it.....  Sorry for the picture quaility, These were taken with an old ass camera

The compressor airs up a 5 gallon tank in under a full minute. I've never actually timed it. One thing i do want to mention is that all the hoopla about oilers and dryers is true, To a point, once again you need to make sure your compressor is one with an oil sump. On the Mazda's its usually the compressor with a large bolt on the top of the compressor. This bolt is to be removed in order to fill your sump. If you look at the fourth picture down that i posted, This is where you fill it, You need to get actual A/C compressor oil, its avalible at all auto part stores, and your good
