So my dad has a 96 ram, v6, he got a 95 with a 318 and rebuilt trans for free, i know obd1 to obd2 is main difference, i got obd2 v8 harness and computer from buddies parts truck but apparently the tranny wont work? id really like to help him make it work, his is electronic olders hydraulic correct? anyone have any info can possibly shoot some ideas his trannys pooched that was original point in swapping v8 was just a bonus, so itd be pointless if he had to use his tranny
