So I installed a 6in metro booster and master cylinder on my yota
the braking sucks real bad
Any suggestions?
I dont have power steering so hrydro boost is out
Maybe run a s-10 master cylinder because it has a larger diameter bore?
I wanted to use my stock yota master clinder but it is a 4 bolt setup
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

you have to understand that it may not be the booster. it can be the diameter of the bore of the master cylinder. if you want to keep the metro booster you need to have the master lined with a brass sleeve from someone like whitepost brakes in whitepost VA. you send them your master cylinder and give them the bore of your original master cylinder and they will sleeve it to match and put a new piston in.

I THINK THATS WHAT HE IS SAYING.... MANUAL BRAKES SUCK MIGHT AS WELL NOT RUN THE BOOSTER.

what about the s-10 master cylinder? That is a larger boreAlso i did not modify the rod on the geo booster at all, maybe that is causing an issue?I know there are people on here that have gotten this setup to work succesfully on their trucksJust looking for some info to point me in the right direction

yea i took the rod length of the stock booster and extended the rod on the geo booster.

DOUBLE CHECK THE VACUUM PRESSURE FROM INTAKE TO BOOSTER. THAT WOULD CAUSE A HARD PEDAL

It seems to brake better without the vacuum hooked up
