Listen up everyone-The rumor is true, Sport Truck magazine is no more. This is a horrible situation, not only for the magazine world, but for 2 great guys who no longer have jobs.Sport Truck was our brother in the mag world and we did our best to Help each other out. Unfortunately, the truck community is to blame for this loss. When we, as enthusiasts don't support the mags, this kind of thing happens.Magazines
have to make money and if when you're at the grocery store, of
Wal-Mart, or the bookstore, and you're not buying one, we all suffer.Don't let our competition fool you, this had nothing to do with them, it had to do with the truck world not buying magazines.  Sport Truck was a good title, with a unique style, a die-hard following, and targeted a muscle-truck audience. It's a bummer when people making the decisions only look at numbers. Here is the what will happen now:  If you have a Sport Truck subscription, you will now receive Truckin'.   For all of you who had your truck shot for Sport Truck as a feature, we at Truckin' are going to do our best to run your truck (this will take a little time, please be patient). Also,
for all you go-fast, muscle-truck guys, Truckin' is adding a new
performance truck section in 2010 (you'll see it on stands in 2 months). This section will whet your appetite with blown, big-tire, hot-rods with a bed. Also, we will be picking up as much of the Sport Truck project truck tech and build-ups, as Mike with allow. This way, you'll still see stories from Calin and Mike and be able to follow their progress.   As
for Mike and Andy, no one feels worse than we do. It could have been
us. If you love the truck scene and you want to keep it alive and
well—do your part!Buy truck magazines.-Dan Ward, Editor Truckin'

That really does suck to hear. I hope those guys are able to find new and good jobs too considering the job market right now.
