Exhaust wrap??

  The interior of my truck gets really hot and I need to insulate the floor but I was wondering if I used header wrap on the exhaust if it would help as well.  Does anyone have any experience with this stuff?  I was gonna wrap the y-pipe and the front part of the exhaust where it runs underneath the passenger side floorboard.  Any thoughts???

I've used it for the same purpose and it worked a treat.
