so I thought my 6 yr old daughter would be able to help me install my new solid rear window.....I took out the slider and she isn't strong enough to help push to get the new one inmy wife wont be home for a few hours and it's already dark heremy only choice is to wait for her unless it's possible to install yourselfI'm using the string method around the seal and have done it on several other trucks with helpanyone have tricks to installing by yourself?

set the bottom in first, then work the corners, top should go right in, your daugter should be able to hold enough pressure on it for you to pull the string.

also a strong suction cup to pull inwards might help also.

i have installed over 30 of them by myself with no issues. I use a piece of speaker wire usually, and just push on the outside with 1 hand, and pull the wire with the other.

I did the back glass in my Mazda extra cab by myself. I set the bottom corner in first and prayed that it would fall while I went inside and pulled on the string. "you can do it!"
