i have been building the BRAVA-DIME and im about discusted that the gas guage isnt working. it does indeed pump the fuel to the motor. ive driven this to 5 or 6 shows since may. drives exceptionally well, but i have never had any guage for fuel. i can start the truck, fuel needle hits full and about 7-8 seconds after, the guage immediatly dumps to empty and the fuel lite comes on as well. i spent about 4 hours today removing the bed (by my self) and removing the sending unit, replacing it with a new one. same problem, exactly. i replaced the original and reinstalled the bed and walked back into the house in discust........ GGGRRRRRR. the motor, gas tank, sending unit and every single wire in the truck is from a 2001 sonoma. the guage cluster is from the 2000 bravada. the gas guage is the only guage doin this to me, all the others work flawlessly. could it be as simple as the cluster? ........ ANYONE????

well, i just yanked the dash, removed the 2000 bravada cluster and installed the stock 2001 2.2 sonoma cluster. turned it over and the same result, 8-9 seconds later, empty and gas light came on. definately not the cluster or the sending unit causing this problem
