One of my friends brought it up to me this weekend that my current link set up will bind on the side to sides just during normal driving.  So my idea is to cut out the bar that wraps the drive line to turn it back to a normal 4 link but in your guys opinion do you think it will keep the rearend centered?  or will I have to figure something else out for locating the rear end.

Probably not. You could make it a wishbone.

looks like there is about the same degree of angle that the 60s chevy trucks have on their 2 links....you of course havent put the lower links in yet, so you could tri-angulate them as well ( preferably in the opposite direction), cut the connecting bar on the uppers, and your set.

^--The c10s have panhard bars. But ya, that setup is def a problem, you will probably see some stress cracks right away after driving, could lead to breakage. And the angle is def not enough, Id ditch the whole thing and make a wishbone out of round tube.
