info on a v8 swap for a s10

lookin for a site or something with some more info on droppin in a small block in my s10. was tryin to sell it but i don't want to just give it away. might as well keep it and rebuild it. any ideas?

well it's got a 4.5" traditional bodydrop and i was really curious if its even possible. thanks for the site

on s10 forum, there was a few projects that had em.  one guy was even bodied 5 inches  with a sbc in it and still runnin stock hood.

i have my motor built and it's in the truck now. i'm bodydropped to the rockers. i can answer most of your questions probably. i was in the same boat as you about a year ago.

ya its traditional. like 3.5 or so. built up 350 with the JTR motor mounts. stock oil pan. 4l60e tranny. compushift controller (expensive and i still havent hooked it up yet. lol). i redid my firewall for clearance, but many say you don't have to. but mine looked kinda shitty so i just redid it and made it look a ton more cleaner.

theres also www.v8s10.org theres some guys are there that have done numerous conversions, all types of gm engines in all configurations, extremely helpful
