I met shaun back in 96 at the OG WCN at Lake Perris when he snapped a couple pics of my truck for event coverage for MT, A few months later we met again at ITB and hung out for the weekend - funny story here ... We're walking thru the show area and Im checking out a 67-72 chevy and I tell shaun "dood you gotta look at this truck" He comes back and hes all over it, he over looked it for some reason and starts snapping pics of it and tells the owner he wants to feature it. So later that day Im helping shaun with his tech sheets and other stuff that goes along shooting features and he says I want this to make cover. He is starting to get frustrated cause he wants to do a time lapse but doesnt have a tripod. He looks at me and says go get your truck, I looked at him kinda puzzled then I go get my truck and come back. When I get back he graps a town out of it, throws it on the roof and sets up his camera - first time I ever saw a b/d yota get used for a tripod Shaun shoots the feature and a few months later theres that same chevy on the cover of Classic Trucks - couldnt help but bust out laughing at the grocery store when I saw that - its those kinda thought that make me happy I knew a person like shaun.
