HOW TO PROPERLY MEASURE TRACK WIDTH

I GOT A 65 F-100 AND I'M WANTING TO DO A FRONT SWAP. I GOTTA LOOSE THE IBEAMS. HOW DO I FIND A GOOD FRONT CLIP THAT HALF WAY MATCHES THE TRACK WITDH? THANKS

most guys I know that have that type of ford run a camaro clip.  It's a little bit less in the width department (that's what she said) but it helps with turning
