I'm using the same chassis components for a customer here in this build thread http://www.streetsource.com/forum/topic.aspx?topic_id=110686&Page=1 I work on it as much as I can between parts orders, running the biz, and new product designs. But you can get an idea of how fast things progress when time is actually put into them.

well thanx everyone for the replys. Originally it was a colorado layin body, pretty nice suspension setup, nice paint and 22's. but that was three years ago. now its getting old in my books. He is just taking his time, but 3 years to build all this is more than enough time. Hes almost had the rear end for 2 years, and the front suspension for almost a year. I dont hound on him, but it is almost time to pull it out and to bring it to someone reputable. I may go talk to mailloux chassis to see how much to finish it. I will have about 6g's in labour when im done. i have bought all the tube, suspension components. basically hes just doing labour. and yes it is a waste of a frame table. but he has very little work right now, so yea. im fuming a little

6K in just labor and thats all he has built???? or is it alot further along now???

Wait, you already gave him 6k for that?? Damn man..I gotta admit tho, its looking pretty baller lol mine is extremely similar with a centralized frame and IRS but mines in roller with engine, tranny, and cab.

i have given him 4.5g's so far. it is farther along than these pics. the front tubes are run, and he is making the engine crossmember as of right now. I gave him more money to try and push the issue that i really need this shit done. The control arms arent hung yet, no body mounts. no rad mount. its just a long time coming for very little progress. the way things are going, it will be another year before its almost done. It does look pretty badass, but afer seeing the article in minitruckin mag on how quickly a tube chassis can be roughed in in two days, friking two days, i kinda get mad when i see that.

I wouldn't give him anymore $ untill its done just get on him to finnish it, or pull it out.

Xotic is a joke. I sent them an email before I started building my mazda a few years ago about ordering most of the suspension.  They never did email me back with prices on anything.  Yet on their website they say that they deal with this, that and the other.  I couldn't even get a price on airbags from them.

hey scott, where in lasalle are you. i think matt kennedy was tellin me you were moving near my house. Im on vermont. small world. but yeah i brought it there when i was closer friends with warren and all the 7th gang. but since everyones backed down, there hasnt been much activity going on in the shop. I guess i just gotta drop big face money to get what i want in a certain time period. i think im gonna pull it though.

you should definately get it out of there man....that's far too long for the progress that's been made....there's a few quality places in southern Ontario that could finish it up for ya
