ok i got the front clip off a 91 yota for the ranger. this is my first time doing this swap. im not scared and have a good idea. but any advice and help on thintgs to do to swap it out and make life easier would be great. i am going to try to use the steering box off the ranger bcuase thats what i got. i am getting drop spindles unless i dont need them. can i flipp ball joints. any advice is greatly appreciated from those who have done it. and if any pics are available great. and yes ive done searches.

i would use a power rack and pinon from aerostar.  I heard those work great!

why not use the complete front off the yota?  steering and all? that would be the easiest  you would just have to adapt the steering shaft to the toyota steering box

ranger gear box/steering with a yota WILL NOT WORK.

thats part of the reason for a yota clip.. get rid of that stupid steering!!  james btw hows your yota clipped ranger comin along?? lol

Use the stock Toyota steering/link and run drop spindles with custom arms.  Here's mine.
