What is a good paint to use to paint interior a nice satin color. I am restoring a classic car but I am changing the interior to black. I am trying to keep it somewhat original and paint all the metal parts from what it was to black. No gloss. Would the HotRod black work? Any info from paint guys? I don't want to use vinyl spray out of an aerosol can. I can't seem to locate a paint code for the interior black that was used from that year. The car is a 66 Tbird.

SEM Trim Black will work, has a perfect finish, will fade in direct sun over time though. your best bet for years of trouble free is to apint the parts with black base coat, then clear them.  in the clear you will need flattener.  when the clear dries the clear will dry to a semi or flat depending on how much flattener you add. looks the best, will last and last and last///

do base/clear on them, like he said above^^ itll look and last for a long time to come and wont scratch off very easily. i painted mine with base and used PPG soft touch clear on mine. amazing! perfect look for interior parts and when it dries it dries soft and it feels really close to leather and it wont scratch either.
