my wifes thinking about buying a dodge magnum next month. i have some 22's that will bolt right up and i want to know if anybody could point me in the direction of a good tech article or even list the steps/supplies needed to do the job. btw, i will be doing it right, and ordered paint from dodge to match whatever color car she chooses. thanks.

Mathews paint products  makes a "GLUE"  thats is designed to spray right over chrome and then go directly to paint.  all you have to do is clean the wheels really good then spray this product, let it dry then ready to paint.     I know sounds weird  and thats what i told my paint rep but have been usins in alot at work on bumpers and other chrome and i actually think it works.

dodge doesnt sell anything other then touch up paint. you will have to go to a paint supply store to get the correct color with the paint code off of the car. adhesion is the trick to painting chrome but it will probably eventually delam.

I got some chrome rims I need to paint and been thinking bout trying it out. Normally the process goes: cleaning, then sanding, then etch prime, them fill prime, then sand.....yada yada yada. If I can paint and clear right over this stuff, it'll save me an ass-ton of time.
