ball joints??????help....

so i got my first mini a couple weeks ago.its a 85 blazer sfbd and traditional bd.well the upper ball joints are bad in it.does anyone know what kind i need to get to replace them?it has strong arm control arms with bolt in style ball joints..the housing for them is bent up pretty bad,and i really dont want to keep replacing them..any info on this would be great..thanks in advance yo....

It doesnt matter what brand as long as they have the accordian style boot. Power Performance would be the best as they are rated for higher strength and have the accordian boot AND its double crimped. If you want to get some locally, then shoot for Spicer and AC Delco but open to box and check the boot before you buy them. Do not get Moog.

I have a 97 fullsize gonna lay frame on stock uppers, what needs to happen with the ball joint? get a new 1 or pie cut the arm?
