well we were back at it again and heres some updated pics, the motors mounted in there.. and the front control arm spacers are all welded up, working on the tranny crossmember! hoping this week to be baggin it, anyways, set the cab on there just for clearance reasons and its all looking great! only going to have a issue on the passenger side header so it looks like ill be making my own header for there! heres some pics! crossmemeber trimmed and plated for clearance of motor mount.   motor mount welded up!  set in place checkin everything  90yota doing his thing!!  there she is.. motor mounts are in!!    here it is sitting on the mounts fully!

Are you going to have this thing at Vanfest?

in some shape it will be at vanfest.. it might just be a rolling chasis.. time will tell!!

well tranny mount is done and in there!! heres some pics! also got the drop spindles mounted and set 4 tires on it just to check! heres some pics     ok so i was surfing craigslist and found this gem .. drove a fair bit to get it but you fellow gen 1 owner will understand why!! A FULL PHANTOM!!     then started working on clearing the front end to allow for the bags.. cut into the frame and plated it, just the passenger side is done for now...

front bag mounts are pretty much in, just a few welds left and then drill the hole in the bottom plate and they are done.. i have the rear close but im going to keep those pics secret till after a local show coming up in a few weeks... anyway heres a couple pics of the front bag mounts

I have recomemdations for you. First, washers on the bolts for the bushings. Also, get your steering on. It will get really close to that bushing on the lower arm and you may have to switch out to a buttom head allen. Then there's the motor mounts. Is that all that is to them? Something needs to be in there other than horizontal. Maybe your not done yet?
