plastic poly fuel cels?

how durrable are the poly fuel cels? i wana get one that looks like the spun aluminum ones but mount it under the bed. but i was thinking crap from the road might jump up and hit it. anyone running one of these?

I don't know about the aftermarket ones but my Roadmaster sedan has a poly style tank from the factory and so do others, I would think they would be very durable.
