Title pretty much says it all, i'm looking to buy a wrecked 2000-2006 suburban/yukon/tahoe/full size truck to use the motor/tranny, computer, dash, a/c, and seats from copart.com. I live in Arkansas, and i'm trying to find the truck in Texas, i talked to copart earlier this week, and both states require a dealer/parts/salvage license. They said I could use someone's member number to bid on a vehicle, but a license is required. IF you have a dealer or parts or salvage license, but are not a registered copart.com user, i would be more than happy to pay the $25 fee for registration, if you would'nt mind letting me use your member number to bid. I could pay you before i even bid, and i'm 99% sure i won't bid any higher than $2k. If you can help me out, please let me know. Thanks.

in the state of texas anyone can bid on a car without a dealers liscence, but i can call some ppl that i know since i use to run a yard locally and i went to all the meetings. but i can tell you this that most new model cars go for 2k or more last time i was at the auction. try g&r auto parts in oklahoma, there a gm salvage yard that gets alot of new cars that are wrecked in transate, thats were ekstensive got the hummers from when they built them

should be the same, i went to the salvage pool all the time and could bid on 5 cars at a time without a liscence, ill make some calls tomorrow and see what i can come up with locally and get them to run it on the computer system and see what i can come up with
We have them. You have to be careful some states have very strict laws on the public buying salvage vehicles and them some are very easy going. I think I may even have the vehicle you are wanting out back in the yard that is hit in pass. side.
