Hey guys,  im just trying to lay frame on some 18's on my Taco.  I've seen several people flip there lower balljoint.  This is my daily and I wanted to make sure it would be safe to roll around like that...thanks in advance!

Hope this info helps you out, someone with more experience than me please correct me if I am wrong: In order for you to lay your truck out on 18's (currently have on my 82) you will need to: 1. Bag it2. Flip upper and lower balljoints3. "Z' your front frame rails4. Modify front crossmember5 ? if any I use to have a Taco and only the first 2 were done and it never layed out, was never happy with it. My advice to you is to go all out with your suspension, do whatever it takes to lay it out because chances are you will want it done eventually so why not get it done and over with and move on from there. Hope this helps and everything works out for you.

I had a 98 taco and i tried did the whole fliping of the ball joints and the geometry got all out of wack, so i went to Candospecialties.com and i ordered theirnew designed control arms upper/lower and i was laying out on 18s but the crossmember under the engine was keeping it from laying completlyon the frame its needs to be modefied a bit but with this control arms youre able to lay on 20's so its worth the money.
