I have a 90 toyota pickup 22re and i was wondering if the clutch master cylinder has to be higher or at the same highth as the slave cylinder??? or can i put it lower then the slave cylinder?? thank you

so is there any reason why your not able to doit lower??? i dont understand. does it bleed back or something???

i dont see why it would have to be higher. on some hot rods they have floor mounted pedal assemblies where the master is below the floor. im not positive but i think on these applications the master is lower than the slave cylinder. hope this helps
