Did it on my truck. In addition to the carb and intake, you will need an HEI style vaccum advance style distributor, a fuel pressure regulator to knock the fuel psi down if you are using the stock pump, and one more thing. If you have the 700R4 trans you will need a torque convertor lock-up harness. Your ECM controls the lock up for the torque convertor.
