i read in another topic i could use fuel/brake line for air with ptc fittings. i got some aluminum 3/8 brake line and it acts like it works in the fittings but i can pull it out with some force. did i get the wrong line or fittings?
Like wayne says you can use compression fittings but I recommend using flare fittings. I have used them several times and other things and never had a problem with them leaking or popping out. You will have to buy a tool to flare the copper though.
You can use the push connect fittings with copper(not sure of other hard line but dont see why not) as long as you get the correct ones. I believe the ones I had were legris. I think parker makes some that will work also.
I use 3/8 stainless tube & Russel AN fittings, you'll need a good tube bender & 37 degree flaring tool( I use Rigdid).Should be able to find @ hot rod shop
exstensive metalworx uses copper line and push connect fittings..alot of daily drivers from there no problems..i remember a article in a magazine bout it before also..
