I am looking to get some billet 20s for my taco but I am having some trouble finding out what offset to get. I am looking at some 20x8 wheels with a 35 series tire and have an RX7 rearend on my taco that lays pinch welds. The dealer suggested a 20 offset in front and a 30 in back but I also have had people tell me that wont wok I would like to get a second or third opinion before spending that kind of cash.

20 and 30 are way too low, your going to want 38-45mm offset front and rear

from what I'm told it is the rear on tacos that have the problem not so much the front is that right?

I know that an 8.5" wheel with a 36ish offset will not tuck in the rear with an RX& rear end.  Needs to be about an inch narrower.  Check out the Tacoma Hydroholics build for more info on this site.
