Hey guys, I'm looking at bagging a 1994 Chevy 2500. I still want to be able to pull a trailer and tow with it. What kind of rear setup who you recommend? 2-Link or 4-Link with bags over the axle or ????. And what size bags? Would a Slam RE8 be enough?? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Depends on how much your gonna tow weight wise.  If your just gonna tow a single car bumper pull you can go with bags levered on the bars.  2 or 4 link Will work as long as your bars are strong enough.  Anything bigger or gooseneck  should probably be  bag on the rear or just in front of or behind. I tow a 16 ft with a truck on it with my half ton with a EVIL  2 link ( don't care what anybody else thinks about a 2-link, just telling what works for me)  and 2600 firestones and it tows just fine.  I only hafta run 90 pounds in em. Ekstensive does alot of tow rigs.  You might check out their site.

Yeah, all I'm going to be pulling is just a 18' bumper pull steel trialer. Heaviest load will most likely be single cab fullsize truck. If I can get away with a 2-link that is probably the way I'll go. Just looking for something simple yet effective. Any other recommendations??

I've allways been told if you plan on hauling something put the bags on the axle.
