Basically I drive my truck daily on the freeway and im tired of floating. I measure the front layed from mount to mount and the front locked up from mount to mount, same with rear Im current running Slam re 7's and re 8's, (or re 6 and re 8, i forget) They measure like this

Front Shock locked up- 11"
Front Shock Slammed- 8"
Rear locked up- 17 1/4"
Rear slammed- 11 1/2

Im just wondering should I bother getting shocks in the front or will it drastically limit my turning radius. Also, anyone know where I can find shocks with the lengths i listed above? Im assuming id have to go with shocks that lock up a little higher then the lockup heigth and lay a little lower then the slammed heigth if i'm correct? I dont got alot of money to spend, I just need a shock that'll make my ride alot smoother than just bags, I feel like im floating on water on the freeway, when I had firestones it was worse but when i got the slams it made it a little better,
Thanks!

you dont seem to get all that much travel up front, however there is more than likely a shock that fits your need. Go to http://www.monroe.com/catalog/documents/08_MountingLengthSheet.pdf and you should be able to find one that works best. I am running early VW Beetle shocks, and they work great for my application, although I could use a little more travel in the rear due to my current designed shock mount. -Brad

Ill be the first to tell you you will want shocks in the front lol I had a bagged hardbody that I could hit a bump and like 30-45 seconds later it was still bouncing. Also what type of truck is it? On the hardbody I ran ford pinto shocks I believe it was and the were about perfect and I had the same bags you have. To get my shocks I went to autozone and they actually let me measure them before buying them. Maybe you can do that as well.
