The shop that origionally did this frame auctually built a few setups like this.  one of the others was on a blazer frame, and while the chassis was being towd home, a tab broke off of the cell, with no fuel in the cell at all, just from bouncing around on the ride home.  The cells that i make for ram trucks, i use 4x4x.250 thick aluminum angle , and it supports a full fuel cell just fine.  i couldnt ever understand anyone thinking that those little tabs would hold the fuel cell alone.  Taylor

hey taylor. i got a question. on your upper links what size tube is that? i want to build a setup like this on a ride im building but i was afraid it would want to twist it. i make all my links out of 1 1/4x.250 dom tube. how do you think it would handle the twisting affect it will have on it. (just a s-10) thanks man. build looks sick! josh

This one is 1.25x.250 wall DOM also.  I cant imagine it twisting at all, its supported pretty well.  Taylor

How long are your "mock" bags?  I made some out of sq tubing but that looks like an easier way to do them!  I assume they are for 2600# bags...  Thanks
