what's up fellas... I have been working on/off on my '99 for a while now and bought some upper/lower arms from Cando but I was only planning on running 18's at the time. I've since got a good deal on some 20's but Steve says they won't work with the control arms I have.  My truck is already bodied to the rockers and I'm just looking for some ideas cuz I can't afford to sell off the "brand new" control arms that I bought to buy another set from steve.  Do you guys think I should try and modify the arms or ditch the 20's?  Really like the 20's though...haha, oh and I still have heat and a/c too.

Also, what size of 20in tire are you guys running on your bodydropped taco's?

Any help would be great...   Thanks

I setup the front of my truck with cando arms before I got Maxs spindles. I had no kinda clearance problems at all with a 225-35-20. Im not sayin steve doesnt know what hes talkin about...just my experience. If you drop down to 18s.....you have to door it. LOL

That sounds like a better plan then trying to sell mine and buy new ones.... I need to get some tires so I can start the mock up then... Did you have to move your brake booster or get a smaller one? And going to the doors WAS the next step...that's why I took it apart this time...It already has a 3 1/4" traditional and I was going to stock floor it the rest of the way but changed my mind "once" again...

how wide is the 20" youre wanting to run?

it's a 20x8 rim and the tires I have on there right now are 255/35R20 so if my calculations are right, that should be about 10.5mm taller than the 225/35's and 20mm wider I was planning on just moving my stock booster toward the engine some cuz it looked like there was enough room

I also moved the booster over bout an inch and a half. just remember that moves the brake pedal over with it. you will have to modify at least one of the mounting brackets for the pedal(where it bolts up to the main dash support)....its not that hard but mines an auto, if you have a 5 speed you may not have the pedal room. You shouldnt have any clearance issues with a 225-35-20.

If you guys have any pics of your front set-up on a 95-04 Taco, post em up please.   And if  you could write what size tire you are running with your set-up too  Thanks!!

do you have any kind of toe issues with either of those set-ups?   I am going to move my bag into the frame a bit so I can get as much lift as possible but when i do that my wheels toe somthing terrible.  I plan on just getting it aligned at my ride height so it's not that big of a deal since it'll just be terrible when parked. thanks for the help by the way
