How is this done? Its a regular two tone but instead of taping off the colors the colors blend into each other. Surely you just dont lay one color base down and then change the colour and start with that next to it as i would imagine you would see the spray lines. Does anybody have any pictures of this done. I recently saw a hummer with it done but couldnt get up close to examine it. I searched a bit online and couldnt come up with any pictures.

the same technique is used that painters use to blend in paint for repairs. you spray one colour first then spray the second colour and you keep thinning the second colour  by cutting it in half each time with clear base and allow it to flash between coats spraying away in one direction. thats how i've seen it done hope my explanation makes sense. perhaps someone else will chime in with a better choice of words. hows the truck comming along anyways jon? you thinkin of two toning the chev?

thanks i had in mind you fade it out, and i wont be two toning the truck, i am thinking of doing it to the daily first. Then we'll see how i like it.
