You can't remove the stock check valve, but you can install another in front of it! I used check valves from Mc Master Carr.on my 380's.

I was having that same issue with it coming out of my air filter hole. I found it was my check valve that went bad. A new leader hose should do the trick.

From what I've read ,Virair knows this is a problem, but wants to move all excising stock! To use another of the same item will not solve the problem!Using a better check valve will!

okay i was payin a lil more attention to the leak just last nite. since i havent even moved my truck since i posted this on the 1st. the air isn't leakin from the air filter hole? its leakin from the top side of the fucker? and it takes like 15min for da lil shit to start leakin? so is it poss. its still da check valve?

I was having a similar problem with my setup. After leaving my car jacked up at night, it would be completely dropped in the morning. I did what Dailydraggerspres suggested and tested my entire setup with a bottle of soapy water and found a few leaks. After fixing those leaks, my car wouldnt drop as fast overnight, but it still lost air.  I finally found that it was my leader hose and check valve that went bad. Most likely due to taking it off and putting it back on so many times; the steel braided hose got screwed. I told my guy Yuri at www.airbagit.com and he was a great help. When I made my next order of parts, he shipped me a new leader hose and check valve with no questions asked. Great customer service from my experience and the lifetime warranty on all non-electrical parts is a great bonus too! Not sure if you already got a replacement check valve but if not you should definately check them out. If its not your check valve, your compressor may need to be rebuilt. Otherwise if you have the money, maybe its time to pick yourself up a new one. Last resort I guess. Hope you figure it out and get it fixed soon. Good luck.
