Let's see them center consoles guys. I'm starting my interior in my dime and didnt know if anyone knew if there was some pre-fab consoles or if its easier to just build your own. Any info and or pics is appreciated ! Jason Missouri

so whats the basics of building a console aside from some fiberglass and bondo. What type of wood do you use? i've seena  couple places offer pre-fabbed consoles that you can cut to fit an do what you need but the basics are there. Anyone seen these or recomned any ?

Anyone seen these or recomned any ?---------------------------------------------Get lotsa cardboard and start cutting.  Lay out a basic rectangular base and then build from that. you will have to make panels to support any stereo, guages etc then attach them to the base.  There will be alot of trial and error for this but keep in mind that you are building a form for the material that will lay down over that.  Then lay some type of material, grille cloth, fleece etc over the form and see what it looks like befor you fiberglass.  The going from scratch route is very time consuming but worth it in the end as noone has one similar.  You could also go with a factory one and cut it down wherever to suit your needs then fiberglass and fill where you need to get it how you want it.  Hope this helps at all
