as of now i have my bags setup for a cantilever setup i wanted to do but im reconsidering it...my question is, that ive seen people mount their bags on the lowers link bars and i have personally done it also so i know it works great but what about mounting on top of the wishbone? is this a possibility on either end of the wishbone or would one work better than the other?

your biggest problem could be that if they are to close together you will have tons of roll in your rear suspension.

I'm with him^^^^   I've seen it done a couple of times, not on a wishbone but the triangulated upper bars, I would worry that on a wishbone you would increase your chances of body roll.   There are two big issues contributing to the roll.  For one, the uppers are typically inside the frame or at least closer than the lowers.  Add to this that depending on where you mount the bags you could potentially be even closer together.   At some point in time the bags could potentially be so close that it would be almost the same as running a single air bag, which also has been done countless times.  If you do go the route of mounting them on the uppers make sure you try to reduce roll as best as possible with properly placing your shocks to help the problem
