Thanks to everyone for the kind words and prayers. We are all taking this very hard as it was so sudden. The guy that offered to help get it moving again is still committed to helping, but I am still trying to find a good body shop to get the bed painted.

If anyone knows of some great people willing to help that are out my way please let me know. I will finish his truck for him one way or another. He will be the first to ride shotgun with me - and he will be there every time I drive his truck.

Forever driving in Heaven - Rest in Peace Dad. I miss you.

Shane I am deeply saddened to hear of your loss.....but please keep your head up man, you seem to be a very ambitous guy and I'm sure that you'll get that truck finished, never get discouraged and never give up cause one day he'll be ridin' shot gun with ya man. I'm sure he is proud of your effort you did the best you could, my prayers go out to you and yours as well!

It's been 8 months since dad passed, and finally some progress to share on the truck...

Ordered new rear fenders without the wheel knockout - should be in this afternoon. Gonna take off the old ones just in case I want to go back to the one with the knockout.

Got a paint guy lined up to get the box in par with the cab. Should be starting on it mid-month. Keeping everything yellow for now. Not too much customizing this round of work but when I decide to repaint the entire truck I will do more shaving and what not.

I need to start thinking about the suspension too. I will be selling my dad's tools in order to acquire the funds to get it done. Currently talking to CrazyTalk Customs in Minnesota to do the work. Not sure what kind of air setup to get though. Any suggestions? I just want an idea when I finally get the truck over to Nic (crazytalk) so I dont waste a ton of his time.

Hopefully some new pics will be up soon.
